FIRSTLY, TELL US THE STORY BEHIND THIS IMAGE. WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO SHOOT IT?

I grew up with digital cameras when I started photographing back in 2016 . When the pandemic hit I got into analog photography and its chemical miracles. Learning how to develop and scan myself was a huge joy to distract myself. I had seen how in the earlier days of photography, photographers made a said “Contact Sheet” I really wanted to create my own, and that's what I did.

DID YOU COME ACROSS ANY CHALLENGES?

Haha. Not really. Maybe aligning the film strips correctly.

WHAT PROCESS DID YOU USE?

To create my contact sheet I used a digital camera, a clean lightsource and 50mm to photograph my film strips placed together. Then inverted the frames in my editing software, and voila. One fine looking contact sheet.

HOW DID YOU PROCESS IT?

Didn’t have any chemicals at hand, so I got my local film lab to develop it. Shout out to Silver Lab in Copenhagen.

WHAT ABOUT PRINTING?

Unfortunately only 5% of my works get printed. I am a digital man in a digital age. I wish I and others in general printed more. Its a shame to look at everything through a screen.
