We chose #hometown to be this weeks theme for #fridayfavourites. This was a chance to share photographs all of your hometowns. Where we live is all different in their own unique ways.
@midtonegrey. Kolkata, 6:10 pm: I was running out of film and running out of light. A relatively slow shutter speed (1/60 sec), which is why you see a bit of motion blur – but I like it. Last shot of the roll, no second chance. Maybe I'm getting sappy as I get older. Or maybe this afternoon, for whatever reason, I miss Kolkata particularly keenly. I've moved cities and countries so many times; and I love exploring new places, I really do. But somehow leaving an old place never gets any easier. Going back is going home.
