Share your favourite image / print shot on ILFORD film and tell us what it means to you?
This is a tricky one to answer. Narrowing it down is nigh on impossible.
This is a recent favourite from a couple of months ago, shot on Kentmere Pan 400, shot in my Billora Bell...
A bit of history
I am now 51 years old and have been faithfully using ILFORD film since first being handed an ILFORD Sport 120 roll film camera from my father. He had used it during National Service in the army in the 1950s and I used it from age 8 onwards and which is what I learnt with. Throughout my professional photography career over the last 18 years, I have regularly used ILFORD film - HP5 Plus, FP4, Delta 100, 400 and 3200 and XP2 Super. Subsequent cameras have ranged from the ILFORD Sport to 35 mm...
For our first #ilfordphoto #fridayfavourites of 2021, we asked you to take a look back over the last year and share your favourites shot on our black and white film using #bestof2020. I've been looking at these all week as they've come in and still struggled to pick just five today. Thank you to everybody who shared with us.

We've really been looking forward to sharing this week's In Focus interview with you. We've been long time followers of Tyler's work and were thrilled when he agreed to take part in this series. As described by Allie Evans 'He makes you feel like the impossible is always possible'.

I like this one because when you look at the photo you see a boat surrounded by white like milk, water. Although in fact it was taken at night. I decided I would leav...
Trees have always been a popular subject for black and white film photographers. For this week's #ilfordphoto #fridayfavourites we took advantage of that and set you the theme of #treesonfilm.

This week's #carsonfilm has to be one of the most popular #ilfordphoto #fridayfavourites themes that we've had. I'm obviously not the only one with a love of shooting cars! It's taken a long while this morning to choose just 5 from the huge number of images that you have shared with us, and we've enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you

An Unexpected Love
My love for Iceland was born unexpectedly, I absolutely didn’t see it coming and it washed over me like a tidal wave in a monsoon. We were planning a holiday of a lifetime. Somewhere with beautiful scenery to photograph, that was the only stipulation. It was more of an exploring holiday rather than the usual beach holiday we were used to.
Countries were thrown in the ring, I really wanted to go to Sweden and my husband threw in Iceland. It’s like I didn’t even know it existed ...
