I recently took Diana Bloomfield's pinhole photography class and came up with the idea to make a class set of pinhole cameras out of tin cans.  I went to the thrift store and bought aroung 24 cans that were made into pinhole cameras.
In class I explained how the camera was made and how it works.  I told the students that there was a PINHOLE contest.  They ended up with awesome images!!  I decided that this works best because it makes it faster, no lag time waiting for students to bring in materials.  Also I know all the cameras are working correctly!

That is funny.  I kept all of my pinhole cans from 2002 -03 becaue i figured that waiting for materials took too long and that tte images would turn out the sharpest.  Now, the PINHOLE contest idea is great!  What did you reward your winners with?
